Our Cape Cod Heritage

At Cape Cod Yarn Works, we specialize in hand-knit chunky blankets, cozy canine comfort blankets, and adorable crochet plushies. Each product is carefully crafted with attention to detail, ensuring durability and style. Our collections reflect the vibrant colors and charm of Cape Cod.

How we got started

I was inspired by a friend's knit project and decided to give hand knitting a try. To say that knitting and yarn working became my favorite thing is an understatement. The next project was our Canine Comfort Blanket. My friend's and their dogs love them, my own dogs are truly obsessed with theirs.

A staple tool for our work are the handmade looms by Sister Act Loom Blankets and Wreath's. Check them out on Instagram, they have great tutorial videos too.

Our products and materials

Our products feature a spectrum of vibrant colors inspired by the seaside landscape. From deep navy to bright coral, our color combinations evoke the lively spirit of Cape Cod. Customize your order to match your personal style. We use chenille yarn in a variety of weights and colors. The velvet chenille is incredibly soft; we make a variety of plush animals with it. Bernat brand baby blanket yarn is the other yarn we use for the plushies.
